What does the sport need?

Tennis demands rotation, repeated lunges, quick direction changes, explosive strokes.

Key physical needs:

  1. Rotational core strength
  2. Shoulder + forearm endurance
  3. Acceleration & deceleration
  4. Agility + COD (change of direction)
  5. Power endurance for long rallies

Common gap areas → core, landing control, hip strength, thoracic mobility.

Common injury risks → tennis elbow, lower back pain, patellar tendon pain, ankle sprains.
