What does the sport need?

Squash demands high-speed reactions, constant direction changes, lunging, rotation and extreme stamina

Key physical needs:

  1. Acceleration + deceleration for short quick bursts
  2. Hip + knee + ankle strength for repeated lunges
  3. Core + oblique power for rotational strokes
  4. Shoulder + forearm endurance for repeated hitting
  5. Aerobic + anaerobic stamina to sustain long rallies

Common gap areas → ankle stability, hip strength, landing mechanics, grip endurance

Common injury risks → knee pain, calf strain, lower back pain, shoulder fatigue
