What does the sport need?

Pickleball demands quick reactions, controlled rotation, lateral movement, and shoulder–forearm endurance

Key physical needs:

  1. Agility + fast lateral movement
  2. Rotational core strength for forehand/backhand control
  3. Shoulder + forearm endurance for repeated strokes & volleys
  4. Hip + knee stability for lunges and sudden stops
  5. Power endurance for long rallies at the net

Common gap areas → core rotation control, ankle stability, shoulder stamina

Common injury risks → elbow/shoulder pain, knee irritation during lunges, lower back strain
